Eagle is the barn name she chose for her horse in honor of her Native American heritage, her faith. In 2011, Kassidy and her horse Sierra Hall of Fame, "Eagle" became the first Native American Woman to be selected to represent EquiBrand and the Classic Equine team. My biggest accomplishment is knowing my example encourages the Native American youth & other youth everywhere to also strive for success and pursue their dream. Perseverance, hard work, and faith are my foundation. The sport of rodeo has definitely taught me to be a winner not only in the rodeo arena, but more importantly in the arena of life. I am also fortunate enough to compete at "The American" the largest 1 million dollar, one-day rodeo held in the AT&T stadium. In 2016 I was selected to be on tour with the Elite Rodeo Association, where I ended my season as reserve World Champion of the Elite Rodeo Association. I remember dreaming of this success as a young child and this opportunity to compete at the most prestigious level as a professional barrel racer, is a humbling experience. In 2010 one of my most memorable experience was becoming the National High School Breakaway Roping Champion. As a proud member of the Navajo Nation, my goal is to advance further into the esteemed level of the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) and to set a positive precedent for all Native American youth and all youth who strive to follow their dreams. It has been my lifelong dream to become a professional athlete in the sport of rodeo and I have been on this journey for more than five years. Hello, I am Kassidy Dennison, 2014 National Finals Qualifier, 8 time Indian World Champion.
